I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Vocational Home Economics Education from Purdue University in 1972, my Masters in Education degree from Kent State University in 2001, and have received 16 continuing graduate credits from Ashland and Walsh Universities since then. After spending over 10 years working in the foodservice industry in jobs including cooking, catering, and supervision of both full time and student staff, I have enjoyed the opportunity to share information, techniques, and skills with Culinary Arts students at PLCC since 1997, and also enjoy hearing about their interests and experences.

I received my degree in Business Education from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, in 1983. I have been teaching in Ohio for 29 years and have earned 50+ graduate hours since earning my degree. I have taught a variety of business courses, accounting programs, cooperative business programs. I was responsible for starting the Careers in the Teaching Professions program, which I taught for 4 years before taking the Admissions Coordinator/Lead Teacher position in 2010.
